An inspection on a home for visible and accessible evidence of an infestation or damage by wood destroying organisms including termites, fungi, and common wood-destroying insects. A sewer scope is a video inspection of the lateral sewer line leading from the house at/near the foundation and connecting to the city or HOA tap or septic tank. A lateral sewer line is the privately-owned pipeline connecting the property to the publicly-owned main sewer line, HOA tap, or septic tank.
Sewer-scoping the line can reveal blockages, damage to the pipe system, and other problems, which are vital for homeowners and home buyers to be aware of. For example, if there is a damp depression in the lawn above the sewer line, or if there is backflow into the home, or if contaminants have been discovered in the potable water supply, a sewer scope inspection can be critical to identifying and confirming these problems, which must be addressed immediately.
A septic dye test is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure used to check the current performance and integrity of a private sewage treatment (septic) system. The main goal is to identify obvious, catastrophic failures (like surfacing sewage or improper plumbing connections) without having to excavate the yard.

Our testing options include indoor air quality assessments, mold sampling and analysis, asbestos testing of suspect materials, and lead-based paint testing. These services are designed to provide valuable information regarding environmental conditions that may affect occupants, particularly in older homes or buildings with known moisture issues. Laboratory analysis is performed when applicable, and detailed reports are provided to assist clients in making informed decisions regarding their property.
Infrared thermal imaging cameras spot small, but key changes in temperature in different areas of a house, identifying problematic areas that the naked eye never could and some that a visual inspection could only hypothesize. A house will show up as hot, cold, or somewhere in between as we scan the house with a camera sensitive to infrared radiation.
Additional fees may apply for multi-unit homes or homes over 5000 sq ft, multiple HVAC systems, crawlspaces and outbuildings.
